Today, student were given a new seating arrangement for the third quarter. I will help you find your seat if you didn't get it assigned in class.
Then students had the opportunity to revisit DEA Test A. We took this early last semester. I distributed the Individual Student Reports (you may have already had this mailed to your house by the district) which contained, at the bottom, students' answers to test questions. I also gave everyone a Test Correction grid, and instructed classes to take another look at questions they had previously missed.
During the last 10 minutes of class, I presented the best approaches to finding the correct answer to the questions that were MOST FREQUENTLY MISSED: Questions 6, 13, 16, and 18, were the most problematic. Between 1/6-1/3 of each class answered these correctly.
Note: If you don't have your DEA Individual Student Report, that's OK, I can print one for you in class.
Note: If you weren't in today's class, and missed the opportunity to re-examine wrong answers, that's OK too -- tomorrow we're taking another look at DEA Test B.
HW: Make sure to bring your Individual Student Report to class tomorrow. I will have a new Answer Correction sheet to distribute.
